La accesibilidad en la Web según el WAI

El WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) es un grupo del W3C que desarrolla estrategias, guías y recursos para ayudar a hacer la Web accesible a las personas con discapacidades. ¿Qué es la accesibilidad? Según el documento Introduction to Web Accessibility del WAI:


"Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the Web. More specifically, Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web, and that they can contribute to the Web. Web accessibility also benefits others, including older people with changing abilities due to aging".
