Guía APA el uso de lenguaje no discriminatorio e inclusivo

Guidelines for Nonhandicapping Language in APA Journals es una guía para el uso correcto del lenguaje cuando se escribe sobre las personas con discapacidad.

Algunos ejemplos:

Put people first, not their disability.

Comment: Preferred expressions avoid the implication that the person as a whole is disabled or defective.

Do not label people by their disability.

Comment: Because the person is not the disability, the two concepts should be separate.
